Recognition
"To
create a tool that can be injected into a Groove shared space, and that
displays in the transceiver, you had to master some pretty esoteric skills.
There are brilliant practioners
of that art, but I'll never become one of them."
Jon
Udell, InfoWorld
"The Parallelspace solutions built on the Groove platform are some of the
most innovative we've seen. In particular, what they've done to integrate
email within a Groove shared space truly positions Parallelspace as a
leading developer of collaborative solutions."
Steve Wilkinson, Groove Networks' vice president of alliances

Becomes the Leading Developer of Truly Collaborative Business Solutions for
Groove Workspace 2.0
April 15, 2002
With today's
announcement of three new Groove Workspace™ solutions for proposal management,
action request and tracking and a fully integrated email experience, Parallelspace
Corporation becomes the leading developer of Truly Collaborative™ business
solutions.
Ray Ozzie Talks About the Role of Email and Groove
"Email is the collaboration tool of choice for people today, but it has
largely become a victim of its own success," said Ray Ozzie, CEO of Groove
Networks. "Although email is a great place to start conversations, it's
increasingly difficult to carry on productive work in our overloaded InBoxes.
Messages often get misplaced, for example, among responses from people who
much too casually press the 'Reply to All' button."
"Of course, email remains a fundamental tool for business collaboration;"
Ozzie added, "it's just that we're now using it in a manner that is well
beyond its original design intent. As a result, people are migrating from
email to other e-work environments, such as instant messaging for simple
communications, weblogs for one-to-many publishing, and Groove for the
multi-person projects and processes that email has never adequately
supported."
Ray Ozzie, Founder and CEO, Groove Networks, Inc.
